Born in Strathmore, Alberta, Dustin Risdon embarked on his journey through the world of golf at a young age, forging a path that would see him rise to become a celebrated professional golfer.

His wins in the Canadian Junior and Juvenile Championships in 1997 paved the way for his later victories, such as the Alberta Junior championship in 1998 and 1999, the 2008 ATB Financial Classic, and the Telus Edmonton Open in 2007. 

With a knack for setting course records, Dustin's impressive performance during the 2007 Telus Edmonton Open saw him claim the title after a hard-fought battle, winning by a mere stroke over Alan McLean. His precision and determination earned him top positions in tournaments across Canada, consistently finishing among the top ten, and he demonstrated his resilience by missing just one cut throughout an entire season. 

His noteworthy achievements also include an impressive performance in the 2007 PGA Tour Q-School and consecutive wins at the ATB Financial Classic in 2008 and 2010. More recently, Dustin has added the PGA Assistants' Championship of Canada in 2016, the Alberta Open in 2017, and the PGA Championship of Canada in 2019 to his list of accolades. 

Now, Dustin is channeling his extensive experience and passion for golf into his role as an instructor.
